Kenneth attended Burlington City public schools and was a stand-out athlete on both the varsity football and baseball teams.

He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1962, serving as a radar operator in Europe.

Upon his discharge from the U. S. Air Force, Kenneth joined the Willingboro Police Department in February 1969, becoming the township's first black police officer. He was one of the original charter members of the Willingboro Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 38, which was formed in August 1972.

During his 31 years, he served as a mentor and counselor for various youth in the community.

He was a member of the Shields of Ebony and the Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club.

Kenneth retired in May 1999 from the Willingboro Police Department.

Kenneth was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 25 years, Janell; his sons: Kenneth Jr., Michael and Sean; his stepchildren: Thomas, Demarco, Kyle, Marcus, Peseria, Carla, Cynthia and Deidrea; his daughters-in-law: Jalyn, Shandra and Marquita; his sister-in-law, Phyllis Warren; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. He also leaves behind three aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

Funeral services were held at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, 150 E. 2nd St., Burlington. W.R. Woody Funeral Home, Burlington
