Clarion Democrat December 18,1919 - Susanna Aaron Fiscus, wife of the late Jacob Fiscus, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Smith, on Nov. 19, 1919, of hardening of the arteries, aged 78 years, 2 months and 4 days. She was united in marriage to Jacob B. Fiscus in 1858, and he preceded her to the world beyond June 13, 1910. She was the mother of 12 children. 7 of whom survive to mourn their loss, as follows: J.W. and R.P. of Crates; Mrs. Jas. Mineweaer [sic], Frank C., George B., and Mrs. Wm Shick, Brookville, and Mrs. Wm. Smith, DuBois. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters as follows: Mrs. John Connor, New Kensington; Mrs. Dennis Conner, Clarion; Miss Matilda Aaron, Pittsburgh; and T.L. Aaron, Kingsville, also 61 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The funeral took place from her late home in Brookville on Nov. 22, interment at Crates Cemetery with services conducted by Rev. Fr. Fitzgerald.
