HOWARD - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Howard, age 88, who died Sunday at the residence, Ooltewah, Rt. 2, will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon from the Coulter Chapel, with the Rev. James H. Malone and the Rev. Abb Stancil officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Valley Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Tom Young, Earl Norwood, Melvin Henry, James Headrick, Paul Reneau and Harold Rogers.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Viola Clayton, Rossville, Ga.; two sons, Charles H. Howard, Ooltewah, and Elmer Howard, Chattanooga; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Allison, Chattanooga, and Mrs. Muldah Timmons, Chattanooga; one brother, Quitman Long, Chattanooga; also 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The body will remain at the R. J. Coulter Funeral Home.
