I was born in New Harmony, IN in 1951 the oldest child of William Leslie and Elfleda Ann Aldrich Smith. My dad was the 2nd of 6 children born to John and Louisianna Williams Smith. He spent his entire life in New Harmony. Mom was the 5th of 15 children born to Raymond Griffeth and Pearl Coleman Aldrich. (She was my grandfather's 9th child). She was born and raised in Posey County. She lived here until 1969 when she moved to Salem, MO where she spent the remainder of her life. I spent the first 18 years of my life in New Harmony. I graduated from New Harmony High School in 1969. My first husband was in the Army so we traveled a bit. My son, David, was born at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Rockville, Md and my daughter, Amy, was born in Stuttgart, W. Germany. I am now married to Larry Kingsbury. I am the proud Mamaw of Lexi, Jordan, Jacob, Ashleigh and Tristen. I also have 2 step sons, Jason and Chad Kingsbury.
