Ellie May Baker's first name has also been interpreted as being "Ellis". There may have been a misinterpretation of the handwriting on her death certificate in which the final letter of her first name is a bit unclear.

An inquiry was made by Find a Grave member LilyPondLane (#47023500) to the Butterfield Memorial Research Library in Bay City, MI on September 5, 2017, as to the location of the burial place of Ellie May Baker.

Here is the reply, dated Sep. 19, 2017, from the Research Library Manager of the Butterfield Memorial Research Library:

"Unfortunately, I was unable to locate any birth information for Ellie May Baker.

The death certificate does state that she was buried in Garfield Township on Oct. 3, 1900. However, I have been unable to locate specific information regarding her grave's whereabouts. I have been in contact with the township's clerk and we have gone through several possible names. I had the clerk search variations of the names 'Baker,' 'Summers,' and 'Resmer/Reamer.' There were no burials in the cemetery records listed under these names. There is an old section of that cemetery with many unmarked graves so it is possible that record keeping was skipped at that time and her grave is unmarked."
