Funeral for retired Army Sgt. 1st Class Tommie E. Driggers will be at the Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. J. F. Frands and Rev. Bruce Banks officiating.
Burial will be in the Maxdale Cemetery with full military honors.
Driggers was born in Wolfe City and served in the Army at Fort Hood. Following retirement from the Army, Driggers joined the Civil Service and again served several years at Fort Hood. He had lived in Killeen for 15 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Daisy Driggers; two sons, Thomas E. Driggers and Clyde Driggers, all of Killeen; a daughter, Mrs. Joy D. Parker of Stutgart, Germany; and eight grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Evans of Cleburne; Mrs. Texia Baker, Harrison, Ark; and a brother, Earnest Driggers of Gresham, Ore.
