~ Edna Braden Obituary ~
Edna Alice Braden passed away Dec. 5, 2008, in Longview after complications from cancer.
She was born into this world as Edna Alice Smith in a small log cabin in South Dakota on July 14, 1928.
Edna was many things throughout her wonderful life but excelled as a mother and grandmother. She loved and was loved. Edna liked the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping and gardening.
Edna is survived by two sisters, Virginia Alzner-Lang and Barbra Hurliman; three sons, Darwin, Delbert and Richard Rounds; a daughter, Lynda Goreth; two step-sons, Eric and Gene Braden; and three step-daughters, Collen Scott, Nolan and Angie Braden.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Living Branch Lutheran Church, 206 Davidson in Woodland.
Woodland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
