Sharon was the daughter of Virgil JOHNS and Pearl MURDOCK. Her stepfather was Glenn TIPTON. Sharon had one daughter and one son. Sharon lived in Lake Ozark for the last 34 years of her life. She was a first grade teacher in Lake Ozark school system for many years. She attended Lake Ozark Christian Church. She also was instrumental in starting the Waste Watchers Recycling program there and was still active in it's operations at the time of her death. She was a member of the Miller County Historical Society, a 25 year member of D.A.R. Niangua Chapter, and a 25 year member of Delta Kappa Gamma. Sharon enjoyed restoring antiques, collecting women's hats, and gardening, especially herbs. She was very much into healthy living and was active in the Mid-Missouri Democrats.
