Ada C. Capes, daughter of Edward and Elizabeth (Keil) Murrell, was born January 4, 1887 at Fairmont, Ne. She passed away at the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva, September 9, 1979 at the age of 92.

She attended the Fairmont school and became a member of Grace Methodist church as a young girl.

December 12, 1917, she was united in marriage to Valti S. Capes of Concordia, Kas. He preceded her in death in 1962. She has resided at Fairview Manor Nursing Home in Fairmont for over two years.

Survivors are: brother, John Murrell of Fairmont; sister, Mrs. Rose Joy of Exeter, both residing at Fairview Manor; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and four brothers: Charles, Ted, George and Harry and a sister, Mrs. Anna Parker.

Graveside services were conducted at Fairmont Public Cemetery with Rev. Jay Vetter officiating at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 11.
