KLEUTSCH: The passing of Mrs. Zeta Marie (nee Mailander) Kleutsch ;of Elrose, Sask. occurred peacefully at her residence in Apache Junction,. Arizona on March 28, 1991, at the age of 89 years. Zeta was born in Wiota, Iowa on October 30, 1901, to William and Mary (nee Metz) Mailander. She moved to Canada with her parents in 1912 and they farmed south of Regina, Sask. until 1926, when the family moved into Regina. Zeta then worked for the Hart family near Eston, Sask. until she met and married Earl Kleutsch, November 28, 1929. They were blessed with 61 years of married life together. Earl and Zeta farmed near Mondou for 45 years, when they retired, and they moved into Elrose in 1984. Zeta was a faithful member of the church and a life member of the Catholic Women's League. She will be always remembered for her special love of her family and friends. Her year-round enjoyment was her garden and her flowers, at both Elrose and their home in Arizona, where they were long-time winter residents. She enjoyed her crafts and needlework, and many hours were spent crocheting and creating wonderful gifts to be treasured by her family, relatives and friends. Zeta will be fondly remembered by her loving husband Earl of Elrose, Saskatchewan; her son Gerald (Arlene) Kleutsch of Calgary, Alberta and their family, Michael (Debbie) Kleutsch and Michelle (Jeff) Ellenton, all of Calgary; her daughter, Rosemarie (Fen) Hedley of Regina, Sask., and their family, Susan (Wade) Pridmore of Consul, Sask. and Michael (Joanne) Hedley, Glenda Medley and Brent Hedley, all of Regina; 5 great-grandchildren: Crystal and Ashley Kleutsch, Lisa and Shawna Ellenton and Jeffrey Pridmore; 4 sisters: Rose McGarvey of Regina, Sask., Veronica (Bob) Mirwald of Regina, Sask., Helen (Ed) Rinn of Rollingstone, Minnesota, and Marcella Chadwick of San Antonio, Texas; and 1 brother, Jospeh Mailander of Los Angeles, California, who subsequently passed away March 29,1991; and Zeta is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary in 1954 and William in 1955, her brothers William, Vincent and Leo, and one brother Maurice in infancy, 3 sisters, Loretta White, Marie Saunders and Lillian Garner. Prayer Services were held from Immaculate Heart of Mary R.C. Church in Elrose on Thursday evening, April 4,1991 at 7:30 p.m. and Funeral Mass on Friday morning, April 5, 1991 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Fr. At Pich celebrating. Ushers in the church were Neil Torrance and Roy Andreas. Honorary Pallbearers were considered "All those who shared in Zeta's life." Interment followed in the Elrose Cemetery with the following acting as Pallbearers: Michael Kleutsch, Michael Hedley, Wade Pridmore, Jeff Ellenton, Richard Garner and John Kutz. For those wishing to do so. Memorial Donations may be directed to either the Immaculate Heart of Mary R.C. Church Fund, the Heart Foundation of Saskatchewan, or to a charity of one's choice. Clements Rosetown Funeral Home was in care of the arrangements.
