He was born Sept. 15, 1933 in Ross County to Vernon W. and Martha Russell Cunningham. On Oct. 11, 1953, he married the former Judith W. Muntz, who survives.
Also surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia Lynne and Robert Ford and Tina Marie and Bill Jones, all of Chillicothe; daughters, Holly Sue Lewis, Hilliard, and Tamera Leigh Beam, Chillicothe; son and daughter-in-law, Randolph William and Lori Cunningham, Chillicothe; son, Terence Lee Cunningham, at home; eight grandchildren, Nadine, Kasey, Heather, Heidi, Nathan, Tiffany, Travis and Terra; a sister, Mrs. Max (Norma Jean) Lawson, Vigo; mother-in-law, Mrs. Grace G. Muntz, Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Cunningham had been an employee of Mead Corp. for 38 years, and a member of Paperworkers local 731 and the Ross County Conservation League. He had served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Ware Funeral Home with the Rev. David Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Londondery Cemetery where there will be union and military gravesite rites. Friends may call at Ware's, 5-9 p.m. Wednesday.
