Mr. Krieger was born March 4, 1912, in Portland, where he was raised. A graduate of Jefferson High School, he attended Multnomah Community College. He was a sheet metal worker for Bonneville Power Administration, retiring in 1971. In 1935, he married Dorothy Earl; she died in 1982. In 1984, he married Josephine Hawksley; she died in 1997.
Survivors include his daughters, Judith Krieger and Janet Gillespie; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Disposition is by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to a favorite charity. Arrangements are by Gable & Parkrose Funeral Chapel.
