Howard H. Brainerd, 66, of 4915
E. Broadway, died Thursday. He
was a native of Hampton, Iowa,
and came to Long Beach seven
years ago from Beverly Hills.
He belonged to Plymouth Congregational
Church of Los Angeles.
Survivors include his widow,
Edna M. Brainerd; two sons,
John C. Brainerd of Long Beach
and William H. Brainerd of San
Gabriel; two sisters, Mrs. Colin
Thomas of Monticello, Iowa, and
Mrs. Floyd Thomas of Tucson,
Ariz.; three brothers, O. E.
Brainerd " of Northampton,
Mass., Fred Brainerd of Fargo, |
N. D., and Charles L. Brainerd of
Portland, Ore., and four grandchildren.
Rev. James H. Moore will officiate
at private services Saturday
in Chapel of the Chimes, Inglewood
Park Cemetery. B. W. Coon
Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements. Friends are asked
to omit flowers.
