She died Sunday, Oct. 9, in Carrizo Springs.
She was born Sept. 1, 1987 in Lubbock. She was a senior at Carrizo Springs High School and was a Catholic.
Survivors include her parents, Merna Avalos of Lubbock and Paul Caballero of Houston; three brothers, Julian Caballero and Vincent Avalos, both of Lubbock, and Rino Montes of Big Wells; maternal grandmother, Irene Benavides of Slaton; paternal grandparents, David and Mary Caballero of Lubbock; and her boyfriend, Oscar Ladesma, Jr. of Carrizo Springs.
