WISNER — Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday for Edward Lee Ferrington Sr., 79, of Wisner, at South Central Baptist Church here with the Rev. Sam Aucoin officiating.

Burial will be in South Central Cemetery with Masonic graveside services under direction of Mulhearn's Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Mr. Ferrington, a native and lifelong resident of Franklin Parish, died Wednesday at Franklin Parish Hospital of Winnsboro.

A member and deacon of the South Central Baptist Church, Mr. Ferrington was a member of the T. B. Gilbert Masonic Hall No. 423 F&AM.

Survivors include a son, Harry L. Ferrington of Patterson, N.J.; three daughters, Mrs. Brooks Keener of Pascagoula, Miss., Mrs. S. G. Kiper of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Lucille F. Braswell of Wisner; two sisters, Mrs. C. C. Stephens of Wisner and Mrs. J. W. Brown of Monroe; one brother, Roy Ferrington of London, Ky.; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
