Chris was the husband of my co worker Cheearease Adams Thomas (Reesy)and was a wonderful human being who loved his wife and son (Little Chris) so much. According to most, he (Big Chris) was a very active child, who loved to play games and sports growing up. But he also loved to hang out with his friends.

On November 12, 2002, one of the greatest blessings occured to Chris, and that was the birth of his son Christopher Thomas Jr. When they were home, they were inseperable. On field trips for school he made sure that he was also there for "his boy" as he called him. Family vacations were always a joy and from what I have heard, Lil' Chris totally admired his dad. On October 8th, 2004, yet another blessing occured, when he married his sweetheart Cheearease Alexander Adams. Believe it or not their first date ended in a hospital visit since Big Chris sprained his ancle while playing basketball. Throughout the years, it became apparent that their love grew, and although they didn't have the "traditional" love that most would expect, nonetheless, the love was THEIRS and SPECIAL and if you knew them, you knew that it was strong all the way until the end. On that last day of his life, again, Cheearease and Big Chris completed their life toghether in a hospital, just like their first date.

The Following is a poem that was written by Big Chris to commemerate the home going of one of his friends, and now it is rededicated to him.

Remember Me....
As you all stand there filled with gried looking down at me please look to the heavens above cause that's where i'll be.
You all know when I was there I was happy as can be, so don't stand there and weep, please just smile for me, for when the lord comes to call upon you there is nothing you can do or say, for he's the one who put me here, but now he's come to take me away.
I know all will miss me and this we all know is true, so just watch over me now, I'm watching over you.
So yes loved one's I've moved away, im an angel flying high, I no longer live on earth, my residence is in the sky....

Rest in Peace always.
