The Daily Hesperian, Gainesville, Tx. 19 Apr 1894

Walter L Airheart was born Oct 23, 1872. The death angel called and his spirit released from its tenement of clay April 3, 1894 at 1:30 a.m. Aged 21 years, 5 months, and 10 days.
Walter was the son of H.R. and Nora Airheart and Grandson of E.M. Kelley. He was born and raised in Cooke county, Texas. His sickness was short duration, but intense suffering. The cause was black jaundice. Was raised by a stepmother to whom he was strongly attached. Ever obedient and affectionate. Was loving and kind to his half sister, ever ready to assist, beloved by his associates who speak words of praise of his moral qualities, and high toned bearing at all times. He was industrious , quiet and gentle in all his ways. Expressed nothing in reference to death, being unconscious most of the time. Made no public profession of faith but those most intimately associated with him believe he had committed his soul to Christ.
May Gods blessings rest upon the bereaved. By one who has known him all thru life.
