Clarence Alberding

Clarence G. Alberding, who lived on Lick Creek Road, died August 30, 1983 in the Morgan County Memorial Hospital at Martinsville. He was 90 years old.

A retired farmer, Alberding was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Cottonwood Christian Church.

He was born June 26, 1893 in Ripley County, the son of August H. and Clara Thum Alberding.

He married Eva Kelso June 26, 1953. She died in January.

Survivors include a daughter, Martha Rock of Cortez, Fla.; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted Thursday at the Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown, the Rev. Darrel Miller officiating.

Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Brown County.
