Bessie Levanda Anderson, 67, died Monday, April 9, at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla.

She was born February 25, 1923 in Dewey, Okla. She married Charles Anderson on August 24, 1946 in Fort Smith, Ark. She was retired from Shangrilla after 7 years as a Pantry Cook. She was preceeded in death by one son Danny Lee Anderson on October 22, 1986 and his wife Beth Anderson January 10, 1990. Also one sister; Leona Quirin on September 28, 1975.

She is survived by her husband Charles of the home in Grove; one son James Lewis Selanders of Kansas City, Kans., two daughters, Peggy May Anderson of Independence, Kans., and Linda Kay Richardson of Bartesville; one brother, Paul Samuel Green of Dewey; one sister LouAnn Williams of Coosbay, Oregon, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 12, at 10 a.m. at the Worley Funeral Home Chapel with Ken Siemens officiating. Interment will be in the Olympus Cemetery under the direction of Worley Funeral Home in Grove.
