Fifth child and second son of Andrew J and Dorothy Melissa Riggs Stewart.

He was about 5 feet and 6 inches in height. With blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair complexion. Scott was talented as a engineer, a surveyor, a draftsman, and had excellent penmanship. He was quite, but highly tempered, and had dry wit. He was domineering at home, but kind and gentlemanly, clean cut, a meticulous dresser, neat a story teller with others, but not his children.

Married Mrytle Maiben on December 19, 1902; they were married in the Salt Lake Temple, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah.
