Ruth M. Niblick, 87, Bluffton, died at 2:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18 at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.
Born in Bluffton on April 8, 1917 to Orville L. and Inez O. Strahm Paxson, she married Dwight "Steve" Niblick on Sept. 14, 1949 in Bluffton; he survives.
A 1935 graduate of Lancaster High School, she was a homemaker and a member of the First United Church of Christ.
Other survivors include a son, Steven Niblick of Crawfordsville; three daughters, Patricia Lockwood of Bluffton, Susan Toppin of Naples, Fla., and Rebecca Touchout of Anna Maria, Fla.; a sister, Doris Fisher of Prairie Village, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Visitation hours are today from 2 to 8 p.m. at Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, with services there Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Neil Wilson and Rev. Walter Graeflin officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove
