William Claude was born in Tennessee to Rosa Lee (Hargrove) Robinson and William Vincent Robinson. After his father passed away in 1917, William Claude moved with the family, including his brother and sisters, to El Reno, Oklahoma for work with the Rock Island Railroad. Claude and his wife Ela had a son Dilver, and a daughter Nadda Maxine. Claude and his wife and children moved back to Westport, TN for 4 years, then returned to Oklahoma. Claude then worked as a barber in Oklahoma City. He was very talented musically, and he could really play the fiddle. Claude was my great-uncle.
