Funeral services for Mrs. Rowena Bevill, 55, were held last Friday, June 14, from the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington. The Reverend William Massey, assisted by the Reverend Curtis Ellis, conducted the services. Burial followed in Bethesda Cemetery with Southern Funeral Horne in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bevill died 10:45 a.m. on June 13 at the University Hospital in Jackson, after a brief illness.
She is survived by her husband, Buck Bevill, one daughter, Mary Tom Bevill and one son, Robert Edwin (Sonny) Bevill, all of Lexington; two sisters, Mrs. Ernest Bryant and Mrs. W. F. Tate, both of Memphis.
