John G. Rickard Dead
Just twenty days after the death of his long companion, John G. Rickard of Washunga died at his home at ten o'clock Monday morning January 20th. Mr. Rickard was born in Virginia on the 16th day of October 1818. He had been a resident of Washunga for the past nine years. His remains were laid to rest beside the new made grave of his wife in the Washunga cemetery. The two sons Fred and Charley have the sympathy of their friends in the loss of their parents.
