WW II veteran who was a member of the squadron that dropped the A Bomb over Japan.

Predeceased by his wife Jacqueline Corneilia. Survived by his daughters Cathy (Tom) Scholl of Duck Key, FL and Brookfield, WI, and Sandra Costa of Southampton. Grandchildren Jacqueline and Daniel McKay.

Pumpkin bomb on trailer, Tinian harbor. This ordnance had a total weight of 10,525 lbs., designed to weigh and have similar handling and aerodynamic characteristics as the Fat Man nuclear weapon. Filled with 6,300 pounds of Comp B High Explosive.
