DRUMMONDS - Sarah Antoinette Meadors Turner Sausser, 76, of Memphis, secretary, died of complications from Alzheimer disease Friday at Shelby Pines Nursing Home in Memphis. Services will be at noon Tuesday at Forest Hill Funeral Home East in Memphis with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery East there. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Ladies of the Moose and Messiah Lutheran Church. Mrs. Sausser, the wife of Franklin Sausser, also leaves a daughter, Faye Adkins of Drummonds ; two sons, Tommy Turner of Drummonds and Robert Turner of Germantown; a sister, Marie Pouncey of Quito; a brother, E.E. Meadors of Drummonds, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Alzheimer's Adult Day Care Center. (Published in The Commercial Appeal 10/27/1997)
