Robert Bernard "Bob" Boland age 41 of Marquette, and formerly of Prairie du Chien, died Saturday, December 19, 2009 as the result of injuries sustained in a snowmobiling accident.
Bob was born September 8, 1968 in Prairie du Chien, the son of Bernard and Bonnie (Payne) Boland. He married Marcie Mielke on February 8, 1997 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Monona, IA.
Bob worked at Quality Wood in Prairie du Chien and later for Miller High Life Beer Distributors in Gulfport, MS and Prairie Beer in Prairie du Chien. He enjoyed farming, softball, bowling, hunting and snowmobiling.
Bob is survived by his wife Marcie and his two daughters Bailey and Brenna all of Marquette, his parents Bernard "Butch" and Bonnie Boland of Prairie du Chien, his sister Rhonda (Brian) Kazda of Mt. Hope, WI along with numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and a host of friends.
