He was born November 1, 1884, the son of Tosten and Mali Hegseth. December 10, 1913, he was married to Betsy Lystad. She preceded her husband in death, July 8 1948.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mollie and Betsy Hegseth and one brother, Peter.
Funeral services will be held at Hedemarken Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the South Friborg Cemetery.
