Robert Ernest Dial, 49, of Blackshear died Thursday (May 27, 2010) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after a sudden illness. He was born in Waycross to the late Robert Eugene Dial and Estill Wilson Dial of Blackshear and lived most of his life in Waycross and Blackshear. Mr. Dial was a Painter and worked for Ware Paint and Drywall. He enjoyed Nascar Racing and spending time on his computer.

Survivors in addition to his mother are his fiancé, Debra Hill, Blackshear who is expecting his child in December; two daughters, Michelle Nettles and her husband Steven, Folkston, Tabitha Dial, Daytona Beach, FL; three sisters, Dorothy Thomas, Brantley County, Delores Dial, Blackshear, Darlene Strickland and her husband James, Blackshear; two brothers, Roy Dial, Longwood, FL and Richard Dial, Atkinson, GA; two step children, Tasha and Chris; Grandchildren, Seth and Titus Nettles, Folkston, step-grandchildren, Dillon Reis, Jacksonville, Christopher Michael Nemeth and Destiny Skyler Nemeth, Daytona Beach, FL; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 PM at Woodard Chapel Congregational Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
