Mrs. Pigott Dies In Franklinton

Mrs. Cynthia Davis Pigott, 81, died at the home of her son, J. Z. Pigott in Franklinton, La., Wednesday, November 27th.
Mrs. Pigott had been a resident of the Dexter community until eight years ago when she moved with her son to Franklinton.
Funeral services were conducted from Crystal Springs church on Thursday, Nov. 28th, by Rev. Compere, pastor of Franklinton Baptist church, assisted by the Reverends W. R. Cooper, C. L. McKay, McClelland, of Enon, La., M. J. Gilbert, of Knoxo, and J. B. Ray, of Lexie. Interment was in the cemetery adjoining the grave of her late husband, T. A. Pigott.
Following are her survivors: One sister, Mrs. Angie Magee; eight daughters, Mmes. W. R. Brumfield, W. E. Stogner, A. M. Mitchell, and C. C. Stogner, all of Tylertown; Mrs. Fleet Strickland of Kentwood, Mrs. James Stafford of Enon, La., Mrs. Otis Alford of New Orleans; Miss Mary Pigott of Indianola; two sons, J. Z. Pigott of Franklinton, and Jesse Pigott of Mendenhall; 31 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Messrs. Clarence, Clyde, and Binford Brumfield, Webb and Jack Stogner, Winford Strickland, Spurgeon Pigott and Mike Uli.
