Reuben R. Ensley, 82, retired farmer of Apison, Tenn. died Thursday in a local hospital. He was a son of the late James Robert Ensley and Sallie Moody Ensley. He was a member of the Apison United Methodist Church and a veteran of World War I. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret G. Ensley; one son, Harry Ensley; one daughter, Louise Ensley, all of Apison, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs. Maude Fisher, Apison, Tenn., one brother, Clinton Ensley, Riceville, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the Stewart Funeral Home, Ringgold, Ga., at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Carl L. Oaks officiating. Active pallbearers will be George Potts, Willrd Wilson, John Wheeler, Perry Hullander, Ronald Sedman and Mark Dekich. Honorary pallbearers will be J.C. Ware, Ernest Coffee, A. H. Wheeler, Earl Presley, Wilburn Land, Cecil Wilson, Grady Presley, Troy Hullander, Robert White, Everett Wilson, Claude Koneaster and James Million. Interment will be in Plowman Cemetery, Apison, Tenn. The body is at the Stewart Funeral Home, Inc. Rinnggold, Ga.
