Paul Dillingham enlisted on the Revolutionary War. In April 1782, he enlisted in Boston in Captain Talbott's company of Col Tappan's regiment.
May 17, 1784, he married Hannah Smith, daughter of Job Smith, who was the sheriff of Franklin County, MA.
In 1799 he moved to Shutesberry, MA and in 1805 settled on a farm in Washington County, New York.
His parents were Paul Dillingham and Annie Paul, who married on 12/18/1753
