Frederick Herman (Fred) Lamprich was born January 14, 1870 in Vernon County, Wisconsin, the son of Carl Wilheim Lampricht and Christiane Kindler. On November 7, 1896, in La Crosse, Wisconsin (La Crosse County), Fred married Ida Anna Dora Wieman, who was born February 13, 1875, in Stuttgart, Germany. Fred and Ida had two known children: Louise Lamprich and Walter Lamprich. Ida died March 5, 1944, in La Crosse, Wisconsin and was buried there in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Fred died July 22, 1953, and was buried beside his wife.
