TAYORSVILLE- Andrew Tullos Blackmon, 72, a retired saw mill operator, died of heart failure Wednesday at Forrest General Hospital.
Services are 11 a.m. today at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home with burial in Fairmount Cemetery in Mize.
Mr. Blackmon was a Smith County native. He was a member of Waco Church of God.
Survivors include; wife Virgie; sons, Andrew Blackmon Jr. of Cleveland, Tenn., Larry Blakeney and Randy Blakeney, both of Laurel, and Mike Blakeney of Monroe, La.; daughter, Nancy Colvin of Brooks, Ky., Sylvia Gandy of Richton, Alesia McAlpin of Mize and Wanda Jordan of Taylorsville; sisters, Mavis Brewer, Mattie AcAlin, Fannie Meadows, Daisy Easterline and Elouise Hancock, all of Mize; and 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren
