The following obituary is taken from a Falls City paper and refers to the father of A.J. Capps of Nelson Mr. Capps returned home Saturday morning from Falls City, where he attended the funeral of his father.
"William F. Capps died at Hastings August 29, 1917, of cancer and his body was brought to this city this morning, August 31, 1917, and taken to the undertaking parlors. The funeral will be held Sunday, interment in the Arago cemetery (sic). Mr. Capps has been an inmate of the state hospital for the past thirty years. He is well known in Richardson county (sic) and has a number of relatives about Falls City."
