EAST BERNARD - Frank Beran Sr., 82, of East Bernard died early Tuesday morning in a Wharton clinic.

He was the father of Frank Beran Jr. of Galveston.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Triska Funeral Home in East Bernard.

Services will be at 9:45 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial in the Catholic Cemetery in East Bernard.

Mr. Beran was a retired farmer, life resident of the East Bernard area and a member of Holy Cross Church.

Survivors in addition to Frank Beran Jr. include his wife, Mrs. Louise Beran; three other sons. A. J. Beran of East Bernard, S. S. Beran of Highlands and Ben Beran of Richmond. Va.; four daughters. Mrs. Mary Leskovjan of Highlands, Mrs. Agnes Smatrla of East Bernard, Mrs. Louise Dusek of Rosenberg and Mrs. Christine Jochec of Richmond, Tex.; two brothers, Joe Beran of Houston and Morris Beran of Eastgate; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Macha, Mrs. Frances Sulak. and Mrs. Julie Janik. al! of East Bernard, and another sister of Ganado; 30 grandchildren, and 23 great -grand children.
