My research points to this individual as being the son of Anna Gurley and Adna Abbott.
I inherited this memorial with only the name, date of death (22 Oct 1822) , and the grave photo.

This record is the only one that I have found referencing a "William Abbott" in this location and time period. This makes sense as it appears that William would have been a child when he died. Anna Gurley Abbott (mother) is buried in the same cemetery.
I am not sure of the DOB. I have found that children were typically christened within a few months of their births. However, his sister Ann was Christened when she was five. His FamilySearch profile has a DOB of 13 May 1807 in Shaftsbury, VT. There was no documentation attached regarding DOB.
