FRANCES KOWALSKI
Mrs. Dominik (sic) Kowalski, 56, of 1625 Madison street, died at the Holy
Family hospital at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral ervices will be held Saturday morning, at 8:30 o'clock from the home
of her sister, Mrs. Wencel Ziarnik, 1134 South 20th street, and at 9 o'clock from
St. Mary's Catholic church with the Rev. John Landowski officiating. Interment
will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
Mrs. Kowalski, nee Francis Agnes Nitka, was born in this city on Nov. 9, 1886
and resided here all her life. She was married on April 29, 1907.
Survivors are the widower; three daughters, Mrs. Walter Godfry, city, Mrs. Victor
Simon, of Manitowoc Rapids, and Mrs. Emil Ducat, city; two sons, Theodore
of this city, and Frank in Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Wencel Ziarnik, Mrs. Felix
Meranda, Mrs. Victor Schultz and Mrs. Matt Lambries, all of this city; four
brothers, John, Joseph, Michael and Theodore Nitka, all of this city; and
nine grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the Ziarnik home after 5 p.m. Thursday at which
time it will be removed there from the Shimek and Schwartz funeral parlors.
