Harry C. Padgett, 59, Niceville, who was a drowning victim Tuesday, will have his final rites Friday at 11 a.m. from the First Baptist Church in Niceville with the Rev. Fred A. Steelman officiating.
He will be interred at Niceville’s Early Cemetery.

Survivors include his daughters Mrs. P. J. Taggart and Mrs. Clifford Nail; son Donald Padgett; brothers R. C., Sherman and William Padgett; and sisters Mrs. Lucille Burkot, Mrs. Ellie Williamson, Mrs. Alma Sparks and Mrs. Sarah Rogers.

The active pallbearers are Robert Reeves, M D Alford, Arthur Howell, Emory Carr, Millard Hopper and James Regans.
McLaughlin Mortuary of Fort Walton Beach is handling all the arrangements.
