Robert E. Bowman, retired optician--Brandon-- Robert E. Bowman, 82, a retired optician for Central Optical Co., died of pulmonary disease Monday at home. Services are 2:30 p.m. today at Lakeside Presbyterian Church with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson. Visitation begins at 1:30 p.m.at the church. Baldwin-Lee funeral Home in Pearl is handling arrangements. He was a member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church and retired as manager of Central Optical. He was a former member of several civic Clubs and the Optical Association. He was former owner of Optical Dispensary in Jackson, Tenn. Survivors include; wife, Mavis; son, Robert P. Bowman of Monteca, Calif.; daughters, Barbara B. Jones of Walnut Creek, Calif, Angelia L. Kirton of Terry and Annette L. Mann of Miami Lakes, Fla; seven grandchildren.
