He was born June 10, 1923, in North Carolina. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a retired bus driver, a 43-year resident of Las Vegas and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1213.
He is survived by his sons, Larry of Gaffney, S.C., and Wade, Don Hunter, and Bill, all of Las Vegas; daughters, Sandy Pacheco of Las Vegas and Paulette Shipman of Gaffney; sisters, Pearl Falls of Gastonia, N.C., and Ionia Smith of Kings Mountain, N.C.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be one hour before services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home with burial following at Paradise Memorial Gardens.
