Franklin H. Wileman was the son of Russell and Mary Polly Calvert Wileman. He joined the Union Army, Private, Co. D. 12 Regt. Tennessee Calvry. Army records state that he bacame ill with measles and died of pheumonia in Nashville, Tennessee, buried in Grave 7161, City Cemetery. His remains were removed from City Cemetery and re-interred at the Nashville National Cemetery, Madison, Tennessee, during 1867-1868. His grave is #13773. This burial location was verified by the Nashville City Cemetery Association.
