Salvador M. Nicolas 1926 - 2010

Salvador M. Nicolas, 83 of Cottonwood, passed away Monday, May 31. He was born on November 26, 1926 in Iriga, Philippines to Arsenio and Paz (Mier) Nicolas.

Salvador attended the Mapua Institute of Technology. He also managed 2 Ghirardelli stores in San Francisco, CA. He was an active member in Lion's Club International to Japan and Hong Kong and also president of Cursillo Inn Christianity, Donsol Sorsogon Chapter in the Philippines.

He also loved reading and crafting.

Salvador is preceded in death by his wife, Lourdes. He is survived by daughter Mary Ann N. Bonfig (Daniel) of Cottonwood; sister Lourdes N. Tanchuling of Philippines; grandchildren Patrick and Danielle Nicole and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery.
