CELEBRATES 75TH BIRTHDAY

Hon. George P. Money, of Gulfport, editor for the past 24 years of the Daily Herald of Gulfport and Biloxi, celebrated his 75th birthday last week.

Mr. Money is a son of the late H. D. Money, who represented Mississippi in congress for many years, serving in the House and later in the Senate. It was said by his colleagues that Sen. Money was the best informed man on history and current affairs in the United State Senate. George P. Money has held many positions of honor and has creditably served them all.

GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY
MR. AND MRS. MONEY

George P. Money and his wife, Mary Young Money, will celebrate their golden wedding at their home on the beach near the Gulf Coast Military Academy, by an open house reception from 5 to 8 o'clock in the evening of November 23rd.

They were married in the Presbyterian Church in Winona, Miss., the home of Mrs. Money and former home of Mr. Money, November 23, 1893, by Rev. E.W. Ford, now of Goodman, Mississippi. Rev. J.B. Fitzpatrick participating.
