Set Wednesday
Funeral services for Bert D.
Ganterbury, 71, of Bolt will be
conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday
in the Breckenridge Baptist
Church at Bolt by the Rev. Doff
Harvey and the Rev. Clarence
Morton. Burial will be in Blue
Ridge Memorial Gardens.
Canterbury died at his residence
at 6:45 a.m. Monday after
an illness of several months. He
had been critically ill for the Past week.
Born in Wyoming County on.
Jan. 31, 1888, he was a son of
the late Henry and Ellen canterbury.
He was a member of the Breckenridge
Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow,
the former Nancy Stennett; two
sons, Thomas; a Beckley attorney,
and Jaok, both of Bolt. Six
daughters, Miss Marie Canterbury.

Beaver, and Mrs. Luther Greer,
both of Beckley, Mrs. Lessie Powell
of Miami, Fla, Mrs. Jarvey Brooks
of Glen Rogers, Mrs.
Virgil Harvey of Glen Daniel,
four sisters, Mrs. Clara Burton
and Mrs. Pauline Brown, both of
Pineville, Mrs. Jenny Barrett
and Mrs. Juanita Mangus, both
of Madison; 15 grandchildren
and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Burk Brooks,
Bill Nidifer, Harold; Bishop,
Herbert Harvey, Quince Dickens,
and Frankie Stanley.

the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Heme
to the residence at. 5 p.m. today,
