Enlisted as a Confederate Soldier with the 34th Mississippi Infantry, Company G (Sons of Liberty), along with his Father on Mar.17,1862.
George M.D. Street had a cousin who was named George M. Street. I have found errors both on line and in books such as the publication "Honor Without A Stain" by David Boone, where the wrong George Street is being referenced as having served with the 34th Mississippi. This honor should only be bestowed upon George M.D. Street of Tippah County, Mississippi whom later moved, died and was buried in Wapanucka, Oklahoma.
Children:
Almoth Luella "Street" Robertson (Dec 16, 1867 - Apr 1, 1948)

Dallas Elizabeth "Betty" (1870 - ?)
