BREMEN -- Marjorie I. Hardy, 85 of 218 W. Maple St, Bremen, died at 3:55 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb 13, 2001 at Bremen Health Care Center following an illness.

A homemaker, Marjorie was a member of the VFW Post 8972 Ladies Auxillary and was an American War Mother. She was a lifetime resident.

She was born Nov. 8, 1915 in Marshall County, Ind, the daughter of David and Sarah (Manges) Geyer. She married Leland Cecil Hardy on Sept. 17, 1933. He preceded her in
death on Jan 17, 1998.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; son son Bruce Hardy, Sr; a grandson Jason; four sisters, Treva, Ethel, Evelyn and Edith; and four brothers, John, Welcome, Clifford and Raymond.

Marjorie is survived by a daughter Babette LaFeee and husband Tim of Bremen; a duaghter in law Shelia Hardy, of Bremen; and three sons, Micke Harcy and wife Lori of Vicksburg, Mich, Ricky Hardy and wife Sherry of Bremen, and Robin Hardy and wife SueAnn of Bradenton, Fla. Thirteen grandchildren survive: Bruce Hardy, Jr, Karen Huffer, Marica Hunter, Tim Hardy, Toby Hardy, Tom Hardy, Trace Stoneburner, Margo Boyd, Kevin LaFree, Matt LaFree, Stacey LaFree, Alex Hardy, and Carson Hardy. Also surviving are 18 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; a sister * Perma Geyer of Argos, Ind; and
a sister in law, **Eldora Gyere of Columbia City, Ind.

A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17 at Mishler Funeral Home. Visitation was held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to services
Saturday.
