WALTERS: George W., age 64, 11107 East 25th place, died at his home last night after a short illness. He had lived in East Gary for 30 years and was employed as a motor inspector by Inland Steel Co. He had been affiliated with the Golden Link Lodge 517 and the Brotherhood of Railroad employees of South Chicago. Surviving: widow, Eva; sons, Frank of Tolleston and George and Simon of Garyton; daughters Mrs. Anna Johnson of Garyton, Mrs. Christina Cipko of Seal Beach, Calif., Mrs. Alice Moore of Gary, Mrs. Susie Wilson of Hobart and Mrs. Elsie Barrett of Garyton; a brother, Harvey of Pennsylvania; a sister, Mrs. Susan Fox of Pennsylvania and 18 grandchildren. The body is at 2935 DeKalb.
