Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville, where persons may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Rushville.
Allen was born March 20, 1911 in Rushville, the son of Harry and Kathryn Carrigan Allen. He was a retired employee of the State Highway Department, a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He attended Main Street Christian Church in Rushville.
Other survivors include his wife, Neva Dike Allen; a son, Thomas Allen on Troy, Ohio; a brother, Harold Allen of Silver Springs Md., and two grandchildren, Joseph and Michael Richardson of Columbus.
