Martha J. McDannell and Pernel O. Chance were Married Oct. 29, 1885 at Enola, Faulkner County, Arkansas
Mrs. Martha J. Chance, aged 77, wife of Pernel Oscar Chance, died suddenly at their home one-half mile west of Enola at 9 O'clock Tuesday night, after suffering a stroke of apoplexy. Mrs. chance was a native of Tennessee, were she was born February 6, 1866, but had lived in Faulkner County 60 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving besides her husband are six daughters, Mrs, Tilda Pate and Mrs. Mattie Battles of Enola, Mrs Alzonia Kenny of Humnoke, Ark.,Mrs Nellie Pate of Centerville, Mrs. Louvenia Rooney of Guy, and Mrs. Betty Jones of England, Ark. Funeral services will be held at Brown Cemetery Thursday. Burial will be in charge of J. A. Pence & Son and the following wre selected as pall-bearers: Eri Smith, Clifford Smith, Bob Fausett, Lester Gray, Ambrose Morris and Carlos Pate.
